2020 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Fred Pierce is a 2022 3B/RHP with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Brookfield, WI who attends Brookfield East. He ran a 7.62 second sixty. A primary third baseman with a larger build showing some present strength throughout. On the infield he showed corner infield range getting lateral with his first step, the hands work out front and the throws showed average carry. Right-handed hitter, starts slightly open and coils into his load, the barrel path will become more consistent as he gets better timing with the load, he showed some hand strength when the barrel gets out front that will project well moving forward. Good student.
