Noah Hester is a 2022 SS/2B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Old Saybrook, CT who attends Old Saybrook Senior. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build, has room to develop physically moving forward. Ran a 7.21 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, shows quick feet underway, fields the ball out front, works to an extended slot and shows ability to change slot when needed, put range and balance on display with nice spin play up the middle in game, accurate throws, can continue to refine footwork coming through the ball. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a high leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Long swing path through the zone, found the barrel in game and works on a linear plane. Creates some extension out front, shows quickness to hands, best when keeping linear plane, middle to pull side contact. Excellent student.
