Ryan Rivers is a 2023 3B/RHP with a 6-2 172 lb. frame from Lebanon, OR. Large frame with a physical build showing. Broad shoulders and strength in the lower half. Ran a 7.58 second sixty yard dash. Primary Third Baseman, flashed good first step instincts as he worked well around the baseball. Deep gather and then shuffles into throws. Threw it 72 mph during drills with carry to throws. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, does a good job of staying balanced throughout the delivery as he coils up on backside before he drives down the hill. Works into a longer arm action before releasing from a high three-quarter slot. Ran the fastball up to 80 mph and mixed in a slurvy breaking ball in the low-70's. Right-Handed Hitter, starting balanced and slightly open with the front side. Hands get deep upon separation as the weight transfers to the back side as well. Longer swing path as he swings it with authority through the zone. Found some loud barrels and projects some power down the road. Good Student.
