Grant Patterson is a 2023 2B/3B, OF with a 5-7 160 lb. frame from Suffolk, VA who attends Nansemond River. Recorded a 7.84-second 60-yard dash time. Compact build with some present strength throughout his frame. Primary middle-infielder, flashes his glove early with a deep fielding funnel. Works through the ball well with developing arm strength, throwing from multiple angles. Up to 70 mph across the diamond. Can improve foot quickness and mobility to improve athleticism. Secondary outfielder, fields the ball off to the side with some stiffness in his actions. Longer arm action, up to 70 mph to the bases, getting on top of the ball. Right-handed hitter, narrow, closed stance with a high-hand set. Downhill swing plane with barrel control while developing his power game. Worked through the middle of the field well, flashing the ability to lift. Excellent student.
