Cooper Reed is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Arlington, WA who attends Arlington. Medium frame with young, slender type build showing room to add physical strength in the future. Ran a 8.14 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, sitting back on the baseball as he gathers deep from a wide base. Gathers and then shuffles into throws as he threw it 65 mph during drills. Will make big strides when he adds strength to the equation. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, staying balanced throughout the delivery as he lifts before showing a longer arm action. Does a good job loading up on backside and gets down the mound. Drop and drive mechanics being utilized as he ran the fastball up to 67 mph. Also proved to have feel for the breaking ball as he landed it for strikes. Right-Handed Hitter, starting balanced before diving into front side. Looks to drive the baseball the other way with a linear swing path. Young actions and again will make strides with a strength gain.
