Justin Dross is a 2022 3B/SS with a 5-4 150 lb. frame from Ridgewood, NY who attends Queens Vocational And Technical. Medium, mature build with square shoulders and strength to frame. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball out front with a wide base, short and compact arm action in the back, lower slot on throws across with arm strength that will continue to improve, takes short steps on the charge, moves well going to glove side, gets under throws at times. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, narrow base with tight hand set; short stride with a subtle weight shift into contact. Shows comfort pull in the ball, gets around the ball at times, short finish through contact, can incorporate additional lower half into swing, shows some quickness to hands in swing. Very good student.
