Blake Readshaw is a 2021 1B/OF with a 5-11 143 lb. frame from New Sharon, IA who attends North Mahaska. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. 7.15 runner, played both the outfield and first base on defense, looked more comfortable with better skills in the outfield, has an accurate arm from the outfield with good footwork and a short and compact arm action, fields through the ball well, certainly has the speed and mobility to be a primary outfielder. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall and slightly open stance, tends to stride open on his swing, simple middle of the field line drive approach, bat speed will continue to improve as he gets stronger.
