Charlie Rothbard is a 2028 1B/RHP/C with a 5-8 185 lb. frame from Rockville, MD. Big durable body. Primary catcher. Very high crouch with side saddle aspects. Gains limited ground post reception with from ear release. At first base, static fielder with some feel for the footwork working off the base. Fed the front end of the 3-6-3 accurately. Right handed hitter, open stance with the initial move to close it up. Works on a direct path and level plane to well extended contact. Some strength in there to the pull side, lived that direction throughout the round. On the hill, its a simplisitc delivery with standard lift and arm action that goes straight the ear and works to a high three-quarters slot. Fastball shows some arm side run. He shows some level of control, throwing a decent amount of strikes. Curveball is big and soft with moderate depth. 8.79 60-yard. Oustanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos.
