Aidan Rumain is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Martinsville, NJ who attends Immaculata. Recorded a 5.10 second forty-yard dash time. Tall, slender frame with square shoulders and room to add strength. Primary right-handed pitcher; full windup delivery with belt high leg lift, good hand separation and good lower half movements down the slope. Simple, repeatable mechanics, 3/4's arm slot with present hand speed and the ability to create downhill plane. Fastball worked in the mid-to-upper 70s for the most part, topping out at 80 mph in this look. Proficient strike thrower that cuts and sinks the fastball to the lower half of the zone effectively, while mixing in a promising 11-5 shaped curveball that flashed good spin traits and depth. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly crouched, narrow stance with a tight hand set, high back elbow and small leg lift. Contact oriented stroke with consistent line drive plane and present bat speed. Hands driven swing with good bat-to-ball skills and occasional impact to the middle and pull-side. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustements and additional strength. Excellent Student.
