Josh Stalnaker is a 2024 RHP/IF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Aurora, OH who attends Cuyahoga Valley Christian Acad. Medium to Large frame with an already filling out build showing some physicality. Ran a 7.63 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, overall simple in the operation as he stays under control during the delivery. Drives with his strong lower half and generates easy velocity. Medium arm circle in the back and then delivered from a tough three-quarter slot. Worked quickly and pounded the zone. Fastball up to 82 mph with good arm side run. Also mixed in a sharp breaking ball showing late sweep as his out pitch. Secondary Infielder, good first step instincts as he works fluidly into the baseball. Clean funnel out front before working into transfers. Takes time making sure the transfer is clean before releasing. Accurate to the bag as he threw it 82 mph during drills. Left-Handed Hitter, wide base with a lower hand set before casting the hands out into the load. Weight gets on back side and stays there before he throws hands at the baseball. Linear swing path as he looked to drive it back up the middle. Athleticism in the swing present and will make big strides with some mechanical clean-up's.
