Michael Samano is a 2024 MIF with a 5-9 125 lb. frame from Brunswick, OH who attends Brunswick. Very slender young build. 7.80 runner in the sixty. Has good fundamentals in the middle infield on defense, showed good hands out front with some feel for his footwork, makes accurate throws, made an incredible full length dive and throw at second base to get an out in games. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a further stride out into contact, upper body swing, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength. Also pitched, fast paced high leg lift delivery, tends to fall off to the first base side, compact arm action with a high 3/4's release. Threw strikes with a fastball that topped out at 68 mph. Good student.
