Jackson Roberts is a 2023 MIF/RHP with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Nashville, IN who attends Bloomington North. Slender young build with lots of room to fill out and get stronger. 7.38 runner, has good hands on defense in the middle infield and makes good glove adjustments at the ball, good balance and a quick exchange moving through the ball, low arm slow with developing arm strength from the left side of the diamond. Right handed hitter, starts from a spread stance with a steady drift into contact, hands stay tight and short, hits behind the baseball with a short pull oriented swing, line drive to downward path, bat speed will keep improving as he continues to get stronger. Also pitched, 3/4's arm slot with a medium arm circle, good lower half direction to the plate. Mid-70's fastball, topped out at 77 mph, did a good job of landing a firm curveball for strikes. Good student.
