Evan Orourke is a 2022 OF with a 5-10 135 lb. frame from Arlington, MA who attends Arlington. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and some present strength, additional room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.10 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes longer strides moving towards the ball, fields it out front, longer arm action through the backside, utilizes a crow hop to gain momentum into throws, extra step through gather, shortens arm at release, occasionally gets uphill on throws. Righthanded hitter, begins with a slightly open and narrow stance with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Long swing path through the zone, mostly linear plane, shows some bat speed at present and creates best contact to middle of the field with carry when extended, has tools to improve upon offensively moving forward. Very good student.
