Hayden Boudreau is a 2023 C/RHP, MIF with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Macomb, MI who attends De La Salle Collegiate. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.64 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with high back elbow, smaller leg lift trigger, middle-field approach with line drive plane, simple shift, consistent contact skills. Primary catcher, stands up into reception, doesn't gain ground, slings it from lower slot, up to 70 mph on throws. took infield reps, fields cleanly, gets off quick release, clocked up to 71 mph across. Pitched as well, compact through the back to 3/4 slot, fastball worked 74-77 mph with arm side life, pitches off of two-seamer, shows slider with gyro spin. Very good student.
