Luke McKenty is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Sewell, NJ who attends Washington Twp. Larger build with some strength present throughout and room to add more. Primary right-handed pitcher, utilizes a full wind-up delivery from the first base side of the rubber with controlled actions. Separates his hands at the chest and into a deeper arm path. Accelerates well into a three-quarters arm angle. Fastball showed gradual arm-side run with some late ride to it. Located the heater well on the outer-third of the zone, topping it out at 81 mph. Mixed in a mid-60s curveball with some sharp depth to it in multiple counts. Attacked hitters early and often. Tunneled his mix efficiently while inducing empty swings with both pitches. Offers some upside from a physicality and velocity standpoint. Secondary first baseman, charges the baseball with controlled actions. Remains fairly light on his feet and fields the ball with soft hands. Has a good internal clock with some lateral range to both sides. Delivered accurate throws across the diamond while recording arm strength up to 82 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wider stance with wrapped hands. Utilizes a toe-tap trigger for timing before working into a level bat path. Has evident quickness in the hips and hands. Looks to generate leverage out in front and to the pull-side. Showcased the ability to work all parts of the field. Projects for more power with additional strength. Posted an exit velocity of 83 mph. Ran a 7.65 sixty-yard dash. Great student.
