Mario Borges is a 2025 C/2B/OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Klein Cain. Leaner build with athletic traits in the frame. Ran a 7.47 in the 60-yard dash. Infielder, accurate throws across from a medium arm action. Developing sound footwork and showed a fundamental approach to his fielding on the dirt. Catcher, higher set up and direct in his stance. Gains ground well with accurate, on-line throws that can develop. Right-handed hitter, narrow base and squared stance with load stride timing. Creates separation in the hands with good length to the path. Solid liners up the middle and shows feel at the next level. Excellent student.
