Joshua Planko is a 2022 3B/RHP, 1B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Northville, MI who attends Northville. Recorded a 7.21 second sixty-yard dash time. Large, projectable frame with well-proportioned present strength and a high waist. Primary third baseman with anticipatory fielding actions, deep funnel and developing arm strength recorded up to 71 miles per hour across the diamond. Secondary first baseman with good footwork around the bag, decently quick turns and clean funnel out in front. Recorded throws up to 74 miles per hour in first baseman drills. Right-handed hitter with simple and repeatable swing mechanics. Hits from a wider, slightly open stance with a small leg lift trigger for timing and rotational lower half mechanics. Middle-to-opposite field approach with fairly consistent bat-to-ball skills and line drive impact when on time. Contacted oriented stroke with some loft to it that will continue to improve as he adds strength. Excellent Student.
