Brady Smith is a 2026 RHP/C, 1B, OF with a 5-6 110 lb. frame from Van Buren, MO. Small and young frame with room to fill and time to do so. Ran a 9.01 second 60 yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, up tempo delivery that starts with a short side step up to a high leg lift, clean break of his hands into a working arm action, leads down the mound with good direction to the plate. Fastball topped out at 68 mph with late cutting action often, has a feel for the strike zone and keeps the ball down well, mixes in a curveball with 12-6 shape and good spin, projects very well on the mound with additional strength and growth. Secondary catcher, did drills behind the plate with a high set option, gains some ground out of crouch with a longer transfer and accuracy in his throws. Also worked out in the oufield, fields the ball out in front, low arm slot throws with accuracy and developing arm strength. Left-handed hitter, even and spread out stance with a high hand set, full and uphill swing path with rotational actions, young bat speed that will improve with strength. Great student.
