Declan Boyle is a 2024 3B/RHP, OF with a 5-11 210 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends St. Ignatius College Prep. He has a taller frame with a thick build. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.61 seconds. Primary third baseman that worked to get into proper fielding position. He has strength to his frame and can add velocity by working through the baseball more. Right-handed hitter that starts in an even base with a squatty stance. He has low hands and a low back elbow. He uses a simple stride for timing and does a nice job of creating separation with his upper body. He has short hand path to the ball and stays through the zone well. He looks to hit line drives back up the middle and to the pull side. His swing path is slightly downhill, creating backspin on his line drives when he is on time and making contact out in front of the plate. Excellent student.
