Christopher Sweeting is a 2021 SS/2B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Miami Carol City. Medium and slender frame with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.22 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked out in the infield with long strides moving to the baseball, gangly actions, clean funnel into his body and sound to his backhand as well, nice foundation to project on defensively in the dirt. Also pitched, starts his delivery with a leg lift at the belt line, compact arm action at take back, wide range fastball up to 76 mph, unlocked more velocity with additional weight drive off of the rubber. Right-handed hitter, wide base and a high hand set in the box, toe tap trigger, weight sits on his back side and has hand strength, middle of the field approach.
