Evan Ruth is a 2025 1B/RHP, MIF, OF with a 5-11 183 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cypress Ranch. Medium frame with solid, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.27 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, deep crouch into back knee to load, large hand bar deep, lengthy swing on inside-out path, developing feel for hitting. Deep funnel with late hands at 1B, turned well and threw 77 mph across the diamond, also threw 76 mph from the OF. Graded out best on the mound in this event by a large margin, simple delivery, good direction with good overall tempo, high 3/4 slot with loose arm, fastball worked 75-79 mph with flashes of sink, showed slider with big tilt, upside on the mound. Good student.
