Talan Steinway is a 2025 RHP/SS with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Trafalgar, IN who attends Indian Creek Sr. Recorded a 7.68 sixty yard dash at the event. Tall, lean frame with plenty of room for added strength. Primary right-handed pitcher. Works from a clean, repeatable delivery. Higher three-quarters arm slot. Threw plenty of strikes. Athletic on the mound with good pitchability. Carved in his three innings of work at the event. Fastball had natural arm-side-run, with the curveball being the out-pitch. Secondary infielder. Smooth defender. Good arm speed. Easy range to either side while getting rid of it quickly. Softer hands. Right-handed hitter. Upright stance to start. Flatter bat path that creates natural line drive and ground ball contact. Inconsistent timing. Young strength. Really nice upside on the mound for Steinway. Excellent student.
