Dominic Huffman is a 2024 RHP/1B, 2B, SS, MIF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Mead, WA who attends Mt Spokane. He ran a 7.98 second sixty. A primary right-handed pitcher with an average medium build. He starts with a side step into a belt high leg lift as he works slower through the delivery picking up pace as the arm gets out front with a loose take away through the back up to a three-quarters arm slot, the fastball generated some movement at 78-82 mph, the slider showed its best movement in the mid 60's with sweeping action but got up to 70 mph in the outing. On the infield he showed developing foot speed as he comes to the ball with a passive approach fielding the ball deep before gaining ground into the throws with some energy at the release. Left-handed hitter, starts with a narrow base and high hand from the right side creating good separation as he stays back on the back side while still being able to stay on top of the ball and impact it well to the pull side. Very good student.
