2026 PG Preseason HS Prospect Showcase
Henry Arndt is a 2029 C/1B/3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Ponte Vedra Beach, FL who attends The Bolles. Long and lean young build with lots of physical projection remaining. Ran an 8.16 60-yard dash. Right handed hitter, even base, low hand set, flat barrel path, average bat speed that will improve as he gets stronger, on the barrel in his round with some extension, some quick hands and will improve over time. On the barrel a good bit in game action, collected three hits. Catcher, high set with slightly off-set feet, long arm action that will trim itself over time, can get erratic but solid arm strength for the class, good exchanges and accurate, will improve with release changes. Right-handed pitcher, medium arm action with a three-quarters slot, across body a bit, slightly closed landing, short stride, stiffens out the lead leg into plant, uses a full wind from the middle of the rubber, sidesteps into a belt high lift, late glove side break and depth to the curveball, some sink to the fastball. Good frame to project on.
