Liam O'Brien is a 2021 RHP with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Tucson, AZ who attends Salpointe Catholic. Very long and projectable frame that will hold good strength. Ran a 7.17 second 60-yard dash. Right-handed pitcher only, has a simple and controlled delivery with good balance throughout while remaining compact to release. Uses a short arm action through a high three-quarters slot that creates slight cut and downhill action to the fastball with good life to the plate. Has good feel for a sharp downward breaking curveball, showing great bite and depth that can be projected upon to the next level. Overall stuff paired with the athleticism and coordination at this projectable size posits good upside for the long term. Named to 2020 Fall TP National Showcase Top Prospect List.
