Richie Egger is a 2023 3B/RHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Kenmore, WA who attends Inglemoor. He ran a 8.18 second sixty. A primary third baseman with a large build. On the infield he waits back on the ball with some first step range fielding the ball cleanly and making a quick exchange before he gets off an accurate throw with developing arm strength. On the mound he takes a side step into a full arm action as he comes down the mound with a shorter side staying tall on the back side as he falls off to the first base side, the fastball sat 72-76 mph with young arm speed from a three-quarters arm slot, the curveball showed developing spin traits in the mid 60's as his primary off speed offering. Left-handed hitter, starts with a narrow base and lower hands, he coils into his load with a soft leg lift before working direct to the baseball with a middle of the field approach impacting the ball on a line with developing bat speed. Very good student.
