Erik Munoz is a 2025 SS/RHP with a 5-10 152 lb. frame from Atwater, CA who attends Buhach Colony. Medium frame with a young, lean build. Ran a 7.43 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, sitting back on the baseball as he makes sure he keeps it in front of him. Deep gather and then shuffles into transfers. Shorter arm action and threw it 72 mph with accuracy around the bag. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a side-step to a higher leg lift while turning front side. Shorter arm circle in the bag and then released from a three-quarter slot. Fastball up to 75 mph and mixed in a knuckleball that danced when good. Also proved to have an 11-to-5 breaking ball he landed for strikes. Right-Handed Hitter, starting from a spread out stance with a pinched & closed front side. Hands sink into separation and then worked into an uphill swing path. Proved to have some thump in the bat when he squared it up.
