Bryce Tyndell is a 2022 1B/RHP with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Brockport, NY who attends Brockport. Extra-large, physical build with broad shoulders and strength proportioned throughout. Ran an 8.18 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields the ball out front, short steps off the bag and can incorporate additional footwork into action, works int a longer arm action through the back, lower slot and shows accuracy across, turns well on feet, will continue to refine overall actions. On the mound shows a similar long and loose arm action, works to a three-quarters release point with a short stride coming down the mound. Fastball topped out at 79 mph, pitched to contact and shows some whip at release; mixed a curveball with short shape at 64 mph, gets on the side of it at release at times. Righthanded hitter, begins with a tall stance and a high hand set and lower back elbow at the plate; upper body dominant swing, utilizes a simple front foot tap for timing trigger. Full swing path through the zone and works on a linear swing path, worked the to middle and opposite parts of the field, additional lower half will help unlock power in swing. Excellent student.
