Justin Graff is a 2023 LHP/1B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from La Jolla, CA who attends La Jolla. Long and lengthy slender build with plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop. Primary pitcher, has a shorter arm action from a three-quarters slot. Very simple and conventional mechanics. Works straight up and down with his motion. Very short stride down the hill. Lives around the zone with his fastball and mixes in a large shaped 12-to-6 curveball that shows some depth to the plate. At first base, he stays in front of the ball well and knocks it down. Shows comprehension with his footwork off of the bag. At the plate, uses a tall and even stance with a slight hunch and a simple stride trigger. Fires his hands from a lower handset, looks to get his hands out in front, middle to pull side approach. Good student in the classroom as well.
