Dawson Yager is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 6-3 196 lb. frame from St. Clair Shores, MI. Big and strong athletic build, very projectable physically. Fast paced delivery on the mound, compact arm action to a high 3/4's arm slot, can spend more time gathering over the rubber and getting into his strong hips. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, more there as he continues to grow and mature. Showed some feel for his slider and change up. Was effective working down in the zone. 7.94 runner, showed his arm strength well in defensive drills at first base. Right handed hitter, loads to his backside, lower half drift into contact, upper half tends to stay back, has the strength to hit with power with adjustments.
