Denton Lord is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 6-8 215 lb. frame from Santa Rosa Beach, FL who attends South Walton HS. Extra large frame with significant physical projection to dream on. Compact delivery with a really clean operation and arm action. Solid arm speed for size and has a loose and easy release. Fastball lived in the 92-94 mph range and he filled up the strike zone with it. The four seam was consistently above 20 inches of IVB and even got whiffs on the two seam. Really advanced feel to spin the curveball with healthy shape and spin rates. Landed the pitch nicely and could also miss bats with it getting good sweeping action. Flashed a mid-80s changeup with 16 inches of arm side movement as well. Solid mix with advanced feel to spin and sky high projection. Great student. Verbal commitment to Florida. Selected to play in the 2025 Perfect Game All-American Classic.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
