Corey Gul is a 2024 C/RHP/1B with a 5-8 157 lb. frame from Wheaton, IL who attends Wheaton Warrenville South. Medium frame with solid build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.91 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, large leg lift to trigger, rocks shoulders back into load, gets onto front side at contact and creates slashing path, has ability to drive the ball on a line when on time. Worked out behind the plate, stands straight up to throw, compact arm stroke, clocked up to 63 mph on throws. Also pitched, long and clean arm stroke, fastball worked 63-69 mph with cutting action, flashed a curveball as well. Very good student.
