2021 Northwest Prospect Showcase
Logan Smith is a 2022 RHP/ with a 6-0 210 lb. frame from Anchorage, AK who attends Dimond. He ran a 8.24 second sixty. A primary right-handed pitcher with a tick build. On the mound he worked from the stretch only with a belt high leg lift and average arm action. the fastball came out of the hand well at 80-82 mph with a short stride down the mound working into a stiff front side with good use of the lower half. The curveball showed the ability to create some swing and miss with 11-5 shape. On the infield he showed takes choppy steps into his approach as he funnels into the mid line with a shuffle into the throws showing okay arm strength. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even base using a direct path to the ball with some lift at the point of contact using the middle of the filed with strength as he doubled in game action. Excellent student. Named to the 2021 Northwest Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
