Carson Hill is a 2022 3B/RHP, 1B, OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Gardnerville, NV who attends Douglas. Large frame with a lean build showing broad shoulders and a sturdy lower half. Ran a 7.81 second sixty yard dash. Primary Third Baseman, sitting back on the baseball as he makes sure he keeps it in front of him. Gathers it deep in his stance before working into transfers. Accurate arm as he threw it 75 mph across the diamond. Young footwork showing in his actions. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a side-step to a higher leg lift. Medium arm circle in the back before releasing from a higher slot. Does a good job staying direct to the dish as he filled up the zone. Free and easy in his actions as he shows more velocity in the tank down the road. Fastball up to 78 mph and mixed in a sharp slider in the upper-60's that proved to have some swing and miss type movements. Also mixed in a really good fading changeup that he tunneled well off the fastball. Right-Handed Hitter, starting balanced and slightly open with the front side. Picks it up and puts it down as he lands spread out in his stance. Longer swing path to the zone as he stayed linear throughout. Strength present as he generated easy bat speed while proving he could backspin the baseball. Created loud contact when he timed it up and showed power to the middle of the field. Outstanding Student.
