Jake Messman is a 2021 RHP/UT with a 6-2 155 lb. frame from Manchester, MI who attends Manchester. Tall and slender young build, lots of room to fill in and get stronger. High leg lift delivery, compact arm action from a high 3/4's slot, falls off to the first base side to get his arm through. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, threw consistent strikes with his fastball and worked to the glove side well, challenged hitters. Soft curveball with occasional depth. Right handed hitter, starts from a tall and open stance, big hand drop load, rotational swing, made good contact in the games. Excellent student.
