Cameron Bates is a 2025 OF/2B with a 5-3 135 lb. frame from Deltona, FL who attends Trinity Christian Academy. Smaller young build with lots of growing ahead of him. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance, shows good timing in his load with a short stride into contact, low hand load, arm driven swing with a line drive swing plane and middle of the field contact, consistent in his mechanics. 8.71 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense but showed better actions and potential in the infield as a second baseman, developing arm strength at both positions, hands worked well in the infield and made plays cleanly. Good student.
