Mitchell Ray is a 2021 C with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Celina, TX who attends Celina. Medium frame with long limbs and room to fill out. Recorded a 7.54 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary catcher with a developing defensive skill set; higher set, gaining ground towards his target while showing developing arm strength. Slightly segmented overall catch-and-throw actions with accurate throws to the bag. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wide, even base with a high hand set and simple leg lift trigger. Middle-of-the field approach with short, direct swing path with occasional line drives to the pull-side. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and added strength. Good Student.
