KC Fall Softball Scouting Combine Afternoon Session
Kaylee Cary is a 5'4, class of 2023, SS/3B from Norwalk, IA who attends Norwalk HS. Kaylee is a polished upper class player who has a steady and sure approach to her game. She ran a 3.58 20-yard dash that included a 1.25 5-yard split. A primary infielder, Kaylee showed consistent ability on the dirt. She is certain and deliberate and never rushes her approach. Her glove plays well and her arm action is consistent. Her 53-mph throws are sound and are routinely accurate. Her style is very reliable and works well for her. At the plate this RHH starts with a balanced and slightly open stance. she incorporates a toe tap trigger and is top hand dominant with her swing operation. She shows solid bat speed and a flatter path that produces a line drives. Kaylee is a steady and sure player with calm and easy approach to the game. She never appears rattled or anxious. Her style would serve a small college program well.
