John Hui is a 2024 OF/RHP, 3B with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Lynnwood, WA who attends Kamiak. He has a medium frame with an athletic build. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.81 seconds. Primary outfielder that approaches the ball well and showed bouncy movements. He throws with a short arm action and showed good accuracy. Secondary right-handed pitcher that works exclusively from the stretch. He has a high leg and leans into his back side during his motion. He has a clean, medium arm action and fires from a high 3/4 arm slot. His fastball is straight and he was able to move it around the zone. His changeup has some movement and showed promise moving forward as he continues to develop. Offensively, he starts in a wide stance with high hands and a high back elbow. He uses a quick knee lift trigger for timing. He does a nice job of getting his lower half through on his swing and is able to create lift on his line drives. He made his best contact when staying up the middle. Excellent student.
