Austin Moran is a 2025 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Huntersville, NC who attends Community School of Davidson. Medium current frame with lean muscle mass and easy projection with plenty of time to add physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.29 seconds. Primary position IF, moving really well on his feet and working properly through the ball. Gets hands down early and presents the glove well showing smooth action as he secures the ball. Solid arm creating velocity up to 78 mph across the field. Really handled the slow roller well. Secondary RHP, working from the middle of the rubber and showing a good, athletic transition to balance. Displays rhythm breaking hands at the chest working into a quick, medium depth arm path to a 3/4 arm angle. Repeats well and shows a sneaky FB that jumps on hitters up to 82 mph with decent life. Can really spin the ball, developing a vertical breaker with really good spin traits in the upper 60's. There is some real potential on the bump. RHH using a tall stance and showing a short, quick swing path. Turns well in the torso, uses high hand set to get to extension and there is real bat speed here. Most power to the pull side. Outstanding student and a real two-way prospect to follow.
