Jackson Goodwin is a 2024 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Mooresville, NC who attends Pine Lake Prep. Nice athletic frame for a freshman with plenty of strength potential. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a long and extended swing, tends to stay on his backside and can improve his lower half use to take advantage of his projectable strength, works the middle of the field with some lift out front. 8.12 runner in the sixty. Corner infielder on defense, plays balanced and under control and makes accurate throws. Also pitched, slow to fast mechanics with an over the top arm slot. Fastball topped out at 76 mph with some cutting action when it was down in the zone, also threw a 12/6 downer curveball with some depth. Excellent student.
