Leonardo Baez is a 2024 3B/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Calabasas, CA who attends Oaks Christian. Young athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, big lower half shift into his swing, gets too aggressive and out front at times, shows good barrel control and some young bat speed when he stays back and is better timed, projects well as a hitter. 7.80 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, has some quickness in his hips and covers ground laterally, can get his glove down earlier to ground balls, aggressive to the ball. Also plays some outfield. Excellent student.
