Andrew Ramos is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-1 198 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Olympia. Ramos impressed from his primary spot on the bump, working from a strong intimidating and athletic build. He displayed a full arm action and released from a 3/4 slot up to 89 mph, working down the mound well with simple drop and drive mechanics. In terms of off speed, Ramos sequenced a CH with tons of fading action as well as a sharp 11-5 breaker, both serving as plus pitches in the arsenal. The righty had multiple ways to beat you whether it be by simply overpowering or using funk. On the offensive end, Ramos started from an even base with a high hand set and some barrel wrap generating impact to the pull side of the field. He flashed bat speed with room to refine the barrel control and add to the power potential. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
