Sam Juenger is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Saint Louis, MO who attends St. Louis Priory. Medium physical build with room to still fill out as he continues to develop, posted a 6.94 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder, showcases good athleticism with some aggressiveness to his reads off the bat. Fields out in front. Strong arm with good carry to all bags. Was gunned at 84 mph to home plate in the outfield workouts. In the infield, glove work well to both side, moves well into the hole as well as up the middle. Arm strength plays up in the infield, ability to make plays deep in the hole. Clean and meticulous transfer. At the plate, uses a narrow and slightly open stance with a simple stride trigger. Hands drop down and back into his load. Plenty of raw bat speed through the zone. Potential to improve his hit tool drastically with some slight refinement. At his best when working through the middle of the field, excellent student in the classroom as well.
