Jacob Webster-Moore is a 2024 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-10 152 lb. frame from Marion, IA who attends Linn-Mar. Medium build with some present strength and room for plenty more. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright narrow stance, drops into his swing and takes an aggressive swing and creates good bat speed with a line drive swing plane, projects well as a hitter. 8.14 runner in the sixty. Third base tools and actions on defense, tends to get his glove down late on balls, arm works well with developing carry on his throws. Also pitched, slow to fast delivery mechanics, stays on line with the plate well and repeats his delivery and high 3/4's arm slot well. Fastball worked consistently in the upper 60's with some cutting action at times, also threw a soft curveball with some depth. Worked two very fast innings filling up the zone with strikes and challenging hitters. Bat is his best present tool/skill. Good student.
