Justin Orridge is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Cocoa Beach, FL who attends Montverde Academy. Solid athletic build with good present strength and more to come. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with an early shift into his swing, very aggressive swing, attacks the ball with bat speed and some lift and extension out front, showed his pull power ability and squared the ball up consistently. Primary outfielder on defense, has athletic actions in the outfield and comes to the ball hard, smooth transition into his throws, stays behind and on top of the ball well with a long and loose arm action with very good carry on his throws. Has run a 6.94 at a previous PG showcase. Took a turn on the mound, has a high leg raise delivery and the same long and loose arm action from a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball worked up to 83 mph with some running action, also threw a short slurve type curveball. Excellent student. Named to the Fall Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.
