Logan Schlangen is a 2024 3B/RHP, 1B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from St. Micheal, MN who attends St Micheal Albertville. Medium, broad shouldered build with present strength to frame and additional room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 9.18 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball out front, young footwork moving towards the ball with short steps, shows accuracy on throws across the diamond, arm strength on throws will continue to develop. Also pitched, worked exclusively out of the stretch, lower leg lift with some gather on backside, long arm action through the back working to a high three-quarters release point. Strides open coming down the mound, worked off of his fastball and topped out at 60 mph. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set closer to body with a lower back elbow and a closed stance in the box. Full swing path through the zone, keeps hands close and can create additional extension out front, upper body dominant swing, shows nice strength off the barrel when squared. Very good student.
