Jordan Gass is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Danville, CA who attends Monte Vista. Medium build with room to strengthen as he continues to develop. Primary pitcher, has a longer arm action from a three-quarters slot. Compact delivery overall with quick and simple mechanics. Large side step into a high leg lift. Some whip to his arm action at release. Fastball sits 80-84 mph, solid sink and run to his fastball, occasional plus actions. Mixes in a larger shaped high 11-to-5 curveball with good depth and late break to the plate. Gained more feel with his breaking ball as his outing went on. From the outfield, approaches the ball cleanly and is meticulous with his reads off the bat. Good transfer, throws stay on line to all bags. At the plate, uses an open and upright stance with a higher handset. Large hand drop down and back into his load. Good pop to all fields when on time. Stronger frame suggests his power tool will only continue to improve. At his best when keeping his hands inside the ball.
