Seth Shannon is a 2021 C/OF with a 6-2 214 lb. frame from Woodford, VA who attends Caroline HS. Extra large frame with well-proportioned strength and size throughout. Primary catcher with deliberate actions and a lower arm slot. Compact arm stroke with a tight slot at release. Secondary outfielder with a short arm action and uphill throws. Fields off to the glove side and will improve by getting throws lower to the ground. Switch hitter with a slightly open stance and a low hand set by his belt. Uphill swing path with looseness to his wrists. Linear stroke and has an inside path to contact. Even stance and gets foot down early. Has some power potential and impacts the ball hard when out in front. Great student.
