Jonathan Cardenas is a 2024 OF/IF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Bellflower, CA who attends St. John Bosco. Medium, athletic frame with present physical strength proportioned well throughout frame. Ran a 7.47 60-yard. Primary outfielder, fields the ball cleanly and shows softness to hands at the ball, young footwork and will continue to refine and implement moving forward, shows accuracy on throws to the intended base. Right-handed hitter, begins with an open stance and utilizes leg lift trigger, can continue to incorporate additional lower half and weight shift working into contact. Simple and short swing, repeats it well and remains under control throughout; strength plays in swing and hands work well, shows impact to the middle of the field with a handle for the barrel. Good student.
